| First Lady of Black Comedy |
Angie Le Mar - Sharp, funny and above all stylish, Angie Le Mar is one of Britain's top comediennes.
Whether on TV, Radio or in her dynamic live show which regularly sells out 1,000 seater theatres, Angie is a proven hit with
male and female, black and white audiences and is equally at home with quick-fire comedy, acutely observed character sketches
and solid acting performance.
Angie says:
“First of all you have
to get rid of the mindset that says: ‘jack of all trades; master of none’. That’s a lie to con us - to make
us think we can only do one thing. This country can make you feel like that.”

| Britain's answer to President Barack Obama ? Find out on 15th October |
David Gustave - Oxford educated Youth worker and Motivational Speaker. Frequent
appearances in the media have seen him billed as Britain's answer to President Barack Obama. His life story
seems laden with issues of race, class, poverty, religion, inequality and delinquency and provides a reference for comparing
the influence of individual and structural factors in helping individuals to escape poverty.
Many who become familiar
with David's life use it as a testament to what individuals, particularly those facing barriers to success, can achieve
simply by trying harder.
Simon Vandi is a Programme Manager, providing strategic
advice and solutions to investment and financial institutions. He believes effective management is at its best when well prepared
cross-cultural teams are focussed through shared vision. He has an aptitude for inspiring and motivating based on a
personal philosophy of positive self-advertising. An avid property investor, he is also an aspiring politician with a self-proclaimed
remit for modernising politics in Britain.
Simon
admits that his childhood and teens were ravaged by constant self-judgment and guilt because of a difficult upbringing, but
he has learnt to understand the importance of allowing himself and others to grow within their own dreams and not through
forced ideals of others.
Simon spends his spare time reshaping the lives of disadvantage youth by giving them life skills.
His most recent project, the London’s Best Dance Crew 2010 received raved reviews from dance critics because of elements
of youth development attached to it such as; Events Management, Project Management, Theatre Production, Networking and Media
training offered to youths involved.
Simon says:
“We all have a shared responsibility
of aspiring to inspire; of developing individual talents and fostering mentorship in the next generation.”
Sotenye Diri (pictured above) is a 24 year old Award Winning Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker, Author and a Law Graduate of Queen
Mary University. Her mission in life involves inspiring youth towards success,
encouraging them to banish excuses and challenge the unexpected. Reflecting on her achievements it
is obvious that Sotonye practices what she preaches and is herself on track to doing just that!
As a budding entrepreneur Sotonye has already written three books: ‘Coaching Manual’,
‘Colour to Success’ and ‘No More Excuses’ which is aimed at empowering
the minds of young people and features contributions from a number of well-known successful individuals including
renowned Chef Levi Roots and TV Broadcaster Brenda Emmanus.
Sotonye sums up her achievements
by saying:
“All of this would not be possible if I did not have faith in God and a supportive
network. The success of my journey is not in my achievements but in the fact that I have overcome low self esteem and doubt
and now I can say – if you truly believe in yourself then everything is possible.”
Lyrical Healer Compere for the night. Spoken word Poet
and Radio Broadcaster. Lyrical's song 'Inside Out' made it to the film trailer Moral Conflict film (comedy) starring
